Safety check. Bars and stem tightened and aligned, wheels checked for alignment and nuts/skewers tightened, crank bolts and pedals checked and tightened, saddle bolts checked and tightened, tyres checked for wear and inflated to correct pressure.
Gear service. Cables and adjustment checked, adjusted, lubricated and replaced where necessary.
Brake service. Cables, pads and adjustment checked, adjusted, lubricated and replaced where necessary.
SILVER SERVICE from £75 plus parts if needed
( Bronze service plus )
Bottom bracket and headset inspection adjustment and replacement as necessary.
Wheels removed, hubs/bearings checked and adjusted, rims inspected for wear, tensioned, trued and dished as necessary.
Drive train (cassette, chain and chainset) removed, cleaned, checked for wear and re-lubricated. Chain wear percentage recorded.
GOLD SERVICE THE FULL MONTY from £150 plus parts if needed
(Silver service plus)
Frame/fork service. Stripped, cleaned, checked for alignment/damage, threads checked and cleaned/re-taped as necessary, disc mounts faced as necessary.
Bottom bracket service. Removed cleaned, re-greased and refitted/replaced as necessary.
Headset service. Removed cleaned, re-greased and refitted/replaced as necessary.
Hubs disassembled, inspected cleaned, re-greased reassembled and repaired as necessary.
All inner cables, bar tape/grips replaced into the price. ( Stainless steel cables).
We don’t sell bikes still packed in their boxes. Unfortunately other retailers do. Bikes now are not just a case of throw the bits together and away you go, there is the safety aspect as well as getting your new bike to perform to its best…..
We offer a service to assemble bikes purchased from other stores which require assembly. It generally takes 50-60 minutes for us to properly assemble, set up and adjust a bike from its packaging ( PDI Service). We will turn your boxed bike into a bike you can ride away in around 24 hours, we dispose of the packaging for you (ALL CARDBOARD IS RECYCLED!!) and save you the agro of assembling the bike yourself.
